HOME

The Guest House, completed in 2002, is used often for the comfort of vacationers and folks passing through. Those who come are able to enjoy the peace and beauty of Caleb View and are immensely helpful to the work here both spiritually and practically.  If you have not visited yet, please plan to!  Every season is a spectacular example of the Creator’s handiwork.

This week marks four years from our first sight of what is now Caleb View Farm.  We are humbled to see that the Lord has blessed richly in so many areas.

This year we grew a small canola crop for a seed company, the remainder of the fields were devoted to oats.  The operation brings local farmers and workers here who may not otherwise come.  We have been privileged to share the Gospel with many because of this growing operation.

We are continually grateful that the Lord would have us come and use this beautiful location to share the Good News of the Gospel with the purpose of seeing the establishment of a local gathering of believers.  Through the process of renovating the buildings, restoring the farmland and becoming a part of the community we have had the privilege of sowing the seeds of Truth in many ways.  We are including just a few photos to give you a glimpse of the thrilling developments of the Columbia Valley Bible Fellowship over this past summer : Day Camp, play days and the first sight of the ocean.

The Wednesday After-School Program will begin soon.   Nearly half of the children are now teens so we are praying about a Bible Study to meet their specific needs, perhaps on Friday evenings with an activity to follow.  There are families with serious illness, some with deep sadness and those with the usual burdens of life who need to know the God who loves them and sent His Son to die for them.  They are the neighbors and friends who have welcomed us and who send their children here.  Please pray for us as we seek these people out and share our loving Savior with them.

Warmest greetings to you all in the Beloved Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

We can report with the words of the Psalmist ‘The Lord is righteous in all His ways, Gracious in all His works. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth’ Ps 145: 17, 18.
